Privacy Policy

Who we are

RallyPro is a padel video app operated by an individual based in the United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you are in the EEA or UK, this policy also covers your rights under the GDPR; if you are in the UAE, it covers your rights under the PDPL. What we collect

• Account data — your email, name, and profile picture, supplied by Google or Apple when you sign in. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email, in which case we only ever receive Apple's private relay address.
• Match video and audio — clips you record in the app or upload, including their audio, plus the trimmed clips and highlights we create from them. Recording uses your camera and microphone, and the original recording is also saved to your device's Photos.
• Coach review activity — review requests, inline comments, and structured review summaries.
• Usage logs — basic server-side request logs (IP, timestamp, user-agent) for security and debugging. We do not currently run third-party analytics or marketing trackers.

What we don't collect

• Payment or card data — purchases are made through Apple in the RallyPro iOS app, so RallyPro never sees or stores your card or payment details.
• Location data beyond what your IP suggests.
• Your contacts or address book.

Where it's stored & how it's processed

Your data is stored on secure, reputable cloud infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. When you record or upload a match, we process it to create your trimmed clips and highlights. Some of this processing is carried out by trusted third-party service providers acting on our behalf, only to provide the service to you; they may not use your content for their own purposes. We never sell your footage.

AI rally detection. To automatically find the rallies in your match, RallyPro sends your match video and audio to Google's Gemini AI service, operated by Google LLC. Under Google's paid Gemini API terms, Google does not use this footage to train or improve its own products; Google may retain it for a limited period to monitor for abuse. We never sell your footage. Google handles the data under its own privacy commitments (see the Google Privacy Policy). We ask for your permission in the app before any footage is sent for this analysis.

International transfers. RallyPro is operated from outside the EEA and UK, and your data is stored and processed on cloud infrastructure that may be located outside your country — including in India (Amazon Web Services) and by Google's Gemini service. Where we transfer the personal data of EEA or UK users outside those regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards — principally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK equivalent), including those our cloud and AI providers apply in their data-processing terms.

How we use your data

• To provide the features you signed up for.
• To automatically detect the rallies and highlights in your matches — this includes sending your match video and audio to Google's Gemini AI, as described above.
• To let a coach view a match when you explicitly request a review on it.
• To let another RallyPro user view a match when you explicitly share it with them.
• To send transactional emails (review status updates and account notices).
• To maintain and improve the service. Beyond the coaches and users you choose to share with, and the processing described above, we do not sell your clips or share them with unrelated third parties.

Legal bases we rely on (EEA / UK users)

• To perform our contract with you — creating your account and providing the app's core features: storing your matches, detecting and trimming rallies, sharing, and the coach reviews you request.
• Your consent — sending your match video and audio to Google's Gemini AI for rally detection (we ask in the app before any footage is sent); you can withdraw consent at any time by not uploading further footage or by deleting your content.
• Our legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, fixing bugs, and improving the product, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
• Legal obligations — keeping limited records where the law requires them.

How long we keep it

• Your account and content — kept while your account is active. When you delete a video, or your account, we delete the associated content. We keep only limited information needed to stop a banned user from re-registering, and limited purchase records where required.
• Match footage sent for AI analysis — RallyPro deletes its own copy after processing; Google may retain it for a limited period to monitor for abuse under its Gemini API terms.
• Server logs — basic request logs (IP, timestamp, user-agent) are kept for a limited period for security and debugging, then discarded.

Sharing & community content

Matches are private by default. When you share a match with a coach or another user, they can view that match and leave comments on it. Before sharing, you agree to our content rules (no objectionable or abusive content). Anyone who can see shared content can report it or block another user, and we review reports and act on them — including removing content — within 24 hours.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access & portability — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, by emailing hi@rallypro.io.
• Rectify — view and edit your profile data on your account page.
• Erase — delete an individual video from the dashboard, or your whole account from within the iOS app (Profile → Delete Account) or by email. Deleting your account removes your profile and content; we retain only limited information needed to stop a banned user from simply re-registering.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent to AI analysis, by contacting us.
• Complain — if you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We aim to respond to any rights request within one month.

Cookies

We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies.
